Liverpool trained at their Kirkby base on Tuesday afternoon ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League group phase clash against PSV Eindhoven.
The ‘Reds’ head into the match in poor form – they have lost six of their last seven Premier League games, including two chastening 3-0 defeats to Manchester City and Nottingham Forest either side of the international break.
Slot's men have displayed glimpses of last season’s all-conquering form, enjoying recent wins against Real Madrid and Aston Villa at Anfield, but they have struggled for consistency after spending over £400m on players over the summer.
After four games Liverpool lie in eighth place in the 36-club Champions League table, with nine points from four matches. Wednesday’s opponents PSV are in 18th, with five points from four.
