STEADI for Healthcare Providers

Falls are common in older adults, ages 65 and older, but many are preventable. CDC’s STEADI initiative encourages healthcare providers to screen their older patients for fall risk, assess for modifiable risk factors, and intervene using effective clinical and community strategies. STEADI provides tools and resources for healthcare providers to reduce fall risk in older adults—reducing this risk may prevent future falls, fall injuries, and fatal falls.
