Replace the grooved bearing retainer in your 1983-1993 Mustang T5 with this new and improved 5.0 Resto steel bearing retainer! This new and improved design features tighter tolerances to prevent the shaft from separating from the base, as well as a durable steel construction to prevent grooves from wearing into the sleeve!

From the factory these bearing retainers were made of an aluminum base and sleeve, which developed wear grooves on the sleeve, causing the release bearing to bind. 5.0 Resto's new and improved sleeve has an aluminum base with steel sleeve to provide a smooth and fluid clutch operation! A new input shaft seal is pre-installed into the base to ensure leak free performance! 5.0 Resto's new and improved T5 bearing retainer is a direct replacement for your original and installs in a matter of minutes!
