Switchgrass - GROWTH Year 1 and Year 2 follow up

Switchgrass, a great habitat builder for deer and small game wildlife . Although not eaten it has its place as a major bedding, nesting and means of travel for wildlife .

I am using two 20 foot wide strips of switchgrass on the 🌿Ranch🍀 for screening . I need to move around my field during the deer hunting season without bumping deer in the food plot and my fallow field . Screening deer to your advantage is a great idea and switchgrass is a great way to do that !

In this video I show you my Cave-N-Rock switchgrass in two different stages .

We have a strip I tilled up the ground and planted two seasons ago with the BLACK BOAR DISC HARROW ATV IMPLEMENT. As well as BLACK BOARS ATV CHISEL PLOW ATV IMPLEMENT two seasons ago

We also have a strip that I been working on with a no-till method , of spraying and frost seeding the switchgrass seed in the winter . This frost seeded area is in its 1st growing season .

I am happy with both of the areas i have planted

The Cave-In-Rock is really coming in great
