After a long day of traveling, Tim takes a right and we end up filming the amazing small town of Roanoke, Alabama! This was not our plan at the time, but there was just too much good stuff to pass up.
Roanoke calls itself the "Small Town With a Big Heart, Where People Love People".
The bank, the theatre, RC Cola mural, elephant gas station, the Shoney's Big Boy, along with the Roanoke mural made the decision for us whether to get out and walk a little bit. We didn't hit it all, so we want to go back!
