MY DEBUT NOVEL IS OFFICIALLY OUT!! How In the Algorithm We Trust Came to Be

The journey to publication was not a short one. Nor was it an easy one. But today, Novemeber 11th, we have made it—In the Algorithm We Trust is out in the world. Here is the story of that journey, starting back in August of 2019.

In the Algorithm We Trust is a speculative political satire set in a near-future America where Lamar T. Haddington has used the power and influence of his creations--the Data Gathering Device and the Algorithm--to seize control of America. It is now legally required for all Americans to wear Data Gathering Devices, granting the Algorithm access to their every thought and desire. This is the America in which Hugo Rodriquez is born and raised, where the Algorithm dictates every moment of his life. Unlike the typical dystopian novel, this is not a story about rebellion, but instead an examination of indoctrination.
