Global Conservation is the only international conservation group focused exclusively on funding the protection of endangered national wildlife parks in developing countries.
Sadly, illegal logging, land clearing, mining and wildlife poaching are decimating the national parks in many countries. Unlike the United States, many jewels of our planet have little or no protection for millions of acres of intact forests and wildlife habitats.
In the past twenty years, many countries have lost over half of their last intact tropical rainforests and many species are critically endangered or going extinct.
While ‘protected’ on paper, most national parks including marine protected areas in developing countries are just that – ‘paper parks’ with few rangers or the resources needed for real protection.
Global Conservation brings the needed funding, expertise, systems, technology and community involvement for real protection with Global Park Defense.
We have a global responsibility to assist developing countries and save their critically-endangered species from rapidly-vanishing habitats in land and marine parks. Celebrities, top environmentalists and business leaders all come together to support many of the same projects where we work.
Global Conservation works with communities, park authorities, law enforcement and often the military is needed to shut down massive illegal logging.
In Thailand, Global Conservation funded Global Park Defense against rosewood poachers and after over 2,000 arrests in four years, the Thai government was able to eliminate illegal logging in Thap Lan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Now Global Park Defense is a model for all Thailand with the government rolling out cellular trail cam surveillance with thousands of cameras to all the parks in the country.
Each Global Conservation project becomes a lasting model for entire countries to better protect their endangered forests, intact ecosystems and wildlife habitats.
Please join Global Conservation to help save our world heritage parks and our last intact forests, marine protected areas and wildlife habitats in developing countries. We thank you for your support.

About us
Global Conservation is dedicated to safeguarding our planet's most vital and endangered wilderness areas as wild spaces face unprecedented threats. With poaching, logging, mining, land clearing, and human encroachment on the rise, these pristine habitats are rapidly disappearing. Over the next decade, human activity is projected to consume half of the remaining intact wildlife habitats, endangering iconic species like tigers, primates, bears, lions, elephants, and rhinos. Protected areas are becoming the last refuges for wildlife in developing nations.
As the sole nature conservation organization focused solely on directly funding park protection systems for national parks and UNESCO World Heritage Sites in developing countries, Global Conservation prioritizes the preservation of these critical ecosystems. We work hand in hand with local and indigenous communities, empowering them as the first line of defense for their ancestral lands. Our flagship program, Global Park Defense, aims to extend "No Cut, No Kill" protection to 25 parks worldwide by 2025. Together with our partners and supporters, we strive to ensure the long-term survival of our planet's most precious natural treasures.
