READ FIRST:
D trains were re-routed over the F line in Brooklyn this weekend due to the 6th Avenue Line shutdown in Manhattan. This meant that the R68s, or Hippos, as they are affectionately referred to by railfans, would be using the center express track on the BMT Culver Elevated Line in the fast (50 MPH) direction. You won't see NYC Subway trains travel much faster than this anywhere else above ground.
These shots are dispersed between Neptune Avenue, Avenue X, Avenue P, Avenue N, Bay Parkway, and Ditmas Avenue, with the opening and ending shots @ Fulton Street in lower Manhattan. Enjoy =)
