Young and the Restless best and worst storylines of 2023 ranked by Belynda from Soap Dirt.

Fans were treated to a rollercoaster of storylines last year. From Tucker McCall's (Trevor St John) revenge plots to Jeremy Stark's (James Hyde) mad revenge against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) kept us riveted.

One of the most intriguing plots involved Mariah Copeland (Cameron Grimes) and Tessa Porter's (Cait Fairbanks) baby hearing crisis.

Another captivating scenario was the toxic obsession that Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) had for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), rekindling a thrilling villain storyline that didn't overstay its welcome on the CBS soap opera.

A particularly heart-wrenching Young & Restless storyline saw Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) suffer a baby loss with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), a well-crafted plot that touched on sensitive issues of miscarriage and grief.

However, not all storylines were received well. Mamie Johnson's (Veronica Redd) drawn-out return and her aim to oust Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) from Chancellor didn't quite hit the mark, as did the Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell), and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) love triangle on Y&R.
