Sopot needs no introduction. It is arguably the most famous place on the Baltic sea in Poland.
Sopot is known for its sandy beach, long wooden pier, health spas and Monte Cassino - Sopot’s pedestrianised main street.
We’ve been to Sopot plenty of times before. However, this particular visit was somewhat special due to the warm temperature on an otherwise windy New Year’s Day.
Hordes of people came to Sopot to sample the atmosphere and take a stroll.
We started our stroll at Northern Park (Park Północny) adjacent to Bulaj restaurant. As one typically does in Sopot, we took in all the major sights, including Sopot pier and Monte Cassino Street.
