閒山樂 第 282 回｜ 碗窰樊仙、打鐵屻脊、草山東脊、逆走狗肚山 Wan Yiu Village, Ta Tit Yan, Grassy Hill, Cove Hill 無廣告版 [ENG-SUB]

#閒山樂 3月23日活動，大隊20多人出席。天公造美，除初時略悶熱外，其餘時間大致相當清爽。

Adventure on March 23rd, a gathering of over 20 participants. Blessed with fair weather, the day started off a bit sultry but eventually turned quite refreshing.

這次的遠足行程結合了香港天然美景和人文歷史，適合喜愛自然、攝影和歷史的遠足愛好者。

This hiking journey weaves through the natural splendors and cultural history of Hong Kong, perfect for enthusiasts of nature, photography, and history.

由大埔墟港鐵步行出發，至碗窰樊仙宮/展覽館參觀。碗窰曾是香港的陶瓷生產重心，名字由來正是源於此地曾大量生產碗和瓷器。雖然當今的陶瓷工坊已不復見，但這裡的自然風光和寧靜氛圍吸引了許多歷史及攝影愛好者。

Our trek began on foot from Tai Po Market MTR station, leading to a visit at the Fan Sin Temple/Exhibition Hall in Wun Yiu, once the heart of Hong Kong’s ceramic production. The name 'Wun Yiu' itself signifies the pottery bowls that were crafted in abundance here. Though the kilns are no longer in operation, the area's natural landscape and tranquil aura continue to attract many history buffs and photography enthusiasts.

再經過新屋家、打鐵屻村到打鐵屻脊上山。打鐵屻脊位於大埔山上，是一段相對冷門但景色宜人的行山路線。環境寧靜，遠離喧囂，尾段竹林更見清幽。

We then traversed through San Uk Ka and Ta Tit Yan Village to ascend Ta Tit Yan Ridge. Located above Tai Po, this lesser-trodden path offers pleasant views amidst serenity, a world away from the hustle and bustle, with its bamboo forest providing a particularly peaceful final stretch.

大隊經大埔滘林路至鉛鑛坳稍作休息，再折返麥徑七段上登草山山頂，香港的第14高山，海拔647米。它與針山和大帽山共同構成所謂的針草帽行山路線。草山頂部視野開闊，是觀賞香港新界很好位置，由於這不在麥徑「針、草、帽」熱門路段，山頂景色開揚往往被人們忽略。

The group took a brief respite at Lead Mine Pass via Tai Po Kau Forest Track before doubling back to MacLehose Trail Section 7 to scale the summit of Grass Hill, Hong Kong’s 14th highest peak at 647 meters. It is part of the 'Needle, Grass, Hat' - a trail loop comprising Needle Hill, Grass Hill, and Tai Mo Shan. The panoramic sights at the top of Grass Hill are a superb spot for beholding the New Territories, often overlooked due to its absence from the popular 'Needle, Grass, Hat' section of the MacLehose Trail.

我們再由東脊落山，這裡景色更是美絕，沿途綠草如茵，黄牛在東脊上行走，生態盎然。返回大埔林徑長瀝尾段，大隊登上狗肚山頂。狗肚山，又稱九肚山，位於沙田，靠近香港赛马会沙田马场。這裡不僅自然景观迷人。

Descending from the eastern ridge, the views were even more stunning, with lush green fields and water buffaloes roaming, creating a vibrant ecosystem. The team rejoined the Tai Po Forest path at Long Lou Tan stretch, culminating atop Kau To Shan, also known as the 'Cove Hill. Nestled in Sha Tin near the Hong Kong Jockey Club Sha Tin Racecourse, the area boasts enchanting natural scenery.

最後大隊返回九肚山馬樂徑散隊，完成14公里及攀升量約900米，各位觀眾可以選擇分段行走。

Finally, we disbanded at the Kau To Shan riding trail, wrapping up a 14-kilometer hike with an ascent of roughly 900 meters. Viewers have the option to tackle the route in separate stages.
