This strategy will teach you how to disagree assertively and how to disagree confidently in the workplace. So you don’t avoid disagreeing with people when you want to. You will learn:
1. Recognise the other person’s viewpoint. [2:18]
2. Ask permission to disagree. [4:35]
3. Verbalise your disagreement. [7:01]
4. Support your opinion with a rationale. [10:13]
5. Circle back and ask for feedback. [12:02]

I’ve included a lot of sentence examples you can use for your own conversations. This strategy has worked for my coaching clients, so I hope it works for you too.
