保濕修護｜EP1. 維他命原B5：抗發炎，也不准頭髮撤退｜理膚寶水、Dr Hsieh達特醫、碧歐斯、AHC

維他命原B5因化學結構可分D型和L型，只有D型有生理活性，但2者都能保濕。維他命原B5可溶解於水和酒精，但不溶油脂。非常親膚，極低刺激性和致敏性。

約有60%未滿周歲嬰兒曾發生異位性皮膚炎，縱使沒有，也可能曾有尿布疹。若使用乳液改善，則需確認耐受性。Bepanthen SensiDaily是w/o型 pH 5.5的乳霜。每日2次(2 mg/cm2)持續3周後，脂雙層長度從82.93 增加到203.53 nm/1000 nm2，長度增加來自於乳霜成分的神經醯胺-3(ceramide 3)、膽固醇(cholesterol)和游離脂肪酸，意味皮膚屏障功能更好。

20位雷射除痘疤患者，每日2次塗擦包含5%原B5、羥基積雪草苷(madecassoside)和銅、鋅、鎂微量元素的理膚寶水全面修復霜(Cicaplast Baume B5, La Roche‐Posay)5-7天能有效減少雷射術後的紅斑、浮腫和結痂，並淡化引發的後發炎色素沉澱(postinflammatory hyperpigmentation)。顯示乳霜具有和強效類固醇的相同效果，但副作用更少。

維生素原B5能預防發炎因子例如：前列腺素(prostaglandin) E2、D2，白三烯(leukotriene)C4、D4和血栓素(thromboxane)A2引起的色素產生和分布。羥基積雪草苷調控發炎因子和刺激膠原蛋白合成。銅、鋅、鎂微量元素藉由調控癒合過程中角質細胞增生而改善皮膚狀態。實驗期間需做好防曬。
