After finding a discarded record by a Lansing, Michigan quintet in a thrift store; the music of the Ku Klux Klan was uncovered. Klan members made the musical group the Imperial Quintet, spreading their racist ideology through mediocre and hateful records at the height of the KKK's second wave in the United States during the 1920s.
