Omloop van Vlaanderen 2024 - SS15: Zoning 3 - all cars + regularity (raw footage)

A 3rd pass on SS Zoning for the 64th Omloop van Vlaanderen. on SS Zoning, cars have to do 3 rounds on a loop of less than 2 km. Mostly there are 3 cars on the stage at the same time.

We visited the stage at the same location as last year since we did not have much time (since we come from the first stage of this same loop) and this is very accessible. Also the location in the back, where we visited in 2021, the best location in our opinion, is still forbidden since 2022.

It is however the first time we also watch the regularity competitors on the Zoning. :-)

We arrived just in time for the first competitor, I only have a shot from in the distance from the 0-car finishing! (Wouter Muylle in the Porsche 997 GT3)

SS Zoning is 5.47 km long.

3. Bjorn Syx (11, Citroën C3 Rally2) +1.8
4. Niels Reynvoet (2, Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) & Vincent Verschueren (4, Citroën C3 Rally2) both +2.4
6. Jos Verstappen (5, Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) & Richard Pex (14, Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) both +4.0
8. Enzo Ide (16, Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) +4.4
9. Thibaud Mazuin (10, Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) +5.7
10. Frank Mesure (18, Škoda Fabia R5) +5.8

Cherain keeps the lead and is now 23.3 seconds ahead of Verstappen, Verschueren is still 3rd on +54.9. Bjorn Syx is however getting closer to the podium and is only 17.3 seconds behind (so he would have taken the 3rd place, were it not for 20 seconds penalty for being late at a TC yesterday evening)
