[SFS 1.56] Constellation Moon Landing (+Ares V Blueprint)

▻What if NASA's Constellation program wasn't cancelled?

THE MISSION:
In the late 2020s, NASA initiates construction of a polar lunar base, Outpost Aquila (Eagle). The first couple of launches deliver pressurized habitation modules. Each of these modules contain a barrel-shaped crew cabin, axial docking/mating ports and two solar arrays.

The Ares V will be the launch vehicle lifting the base elements. The cargo launcher is powered by 6 RS-68 engines on the core stage and 2 solid rocket boosters (SRBs). Upper stage propulsion relies on a single J-2X engine.

The Altair lander, having a large flat deck for cargo, is responsible for landing these modules onto the lunar surface. Capable of automated descent and touchdown, Altair plays a critical role in the construction of Outpost Aquila.

SMALL MESSAGE:
A few months ago, began my commitment to recreating NASA's former Constellation Program in SFS. This is my 2nd video in the series and progress is slow. It has become difficult to find time for SFS but I am trying hard to utilize my spare time. Stay tuned for the expansion of Outpost Aquila and more about the Constellation Program!
I have yet updated the game to version 1.57 because the new update is found to damage the rockets that are necessary for the series. For now I will stay with SFS 1.56 until I finish with the Constellation program. Enjoy!
