Ty McLain tells us how he reclaimed his life after receiving VCU Health's first lung transplant.
He wasn’t supposed to live this long. After being born prematurely, his lungs never fully developed, and he struggled to breathe his whole life.
Now Ty says his life is “better than it’s ever been” after receiving new lungs through VCU Health Hume-Lee Transplant Center’s lung transplant program.
