How to Knit Preemies Booties (Socks)

//ABOUT THIS VIDEO//
In this video we will knit preemies booties/socks using straight needles that can be modified for different sizes as well. It is quite simple to make with straight needles.

For these socks, we are using stockinette, rib, and garter patterns.

STEPS
Cast on 21 sts
Row 1-4 : knit stockinette pattern
Row 5: k12, k2tog, turn over (20)
Row 6: p4, p2tog, turn over (19)
Row 7: k4, k2tog, turn over (18)
Row 8: p4, p2tog, turn over (17)
Row 9: k4, k2tog, turn over (16)
Row 10: p4, p2tog, turn over (15)
Row 11: k4, k2tog, knit till end (14)
Row 12-16: knit 2x2 rib pattern (k2, p2)

Cast off the stitchrd.

Cut off extra yarn (4-5").

Use a sewing needle the sew together the socks after folder it inside out. Use crochet hook to weave in any extra yarn.
