The Salsa VAYA covers all road conditions, from paved roads to gravel.
The frame of this bike is made of a stainless steel coupler called BTC (Bicycle Torque Coupling) made by S&S MACHINE COMPANY, which allows the frame to be divided into two parts.
The frame of this bike, the SALSA VAYA, is made of stainless steel and is a split frame, with a triangle top tube and down tube that can be separated.
By splitting it, I can store it in a suitcase and check in it as carry-on luggage on the plane, making it easy to carry your bike on an airplane.
It can fit up to a full-size 700C tire, so I can go on a long touring easier with a folding mini velo.
It can also be equipped with various carrier frames, and once assembled, the strength of the frame is not an issue.
This time, I tried assembling it with a multi-position butterfly handlebar.
With wire-pulled mechanical disc brakes, a 700*32C Panaracer Gravel King, and a Deore 10-speed & front single gear, it is comfortable to ride on slopes and gravel roads.
When I ride it, I can easily ride at high speeds without any bending or creaking in the frame, and it's a comfortable bike for long-distance touring that can cruise at high speeds of around 30km/h.
The multi-position butterfly bar allows me to create a variety of positions, making it a handlebar that is more useful for long rides than it looks.
