OPG recently launched a 10-year Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) Strategy that will serve as a roadmap to guide OPG's journey towards ED&I excellence.
On March 22, 2022, OPG hosted a panel of distinguished guests with unique insight and knowledge of advancing cultures of ED&I in the energy sector.
Moderated by OPG's Director of Ethics & Equity Michelle Folliott, the panelists included:
-Nikki Samuel, Director, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, Human Resources & Equity, Durham College
-Terri-Lynn Woods, Manager, Indigenous Engagement and Special Projects, Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries
-Sagal Abdi, Program Manager, BlackNorth Initiative
-Channa S. Perera, Vice President, Regulatory and Indigenous Affairs, Electricity Canada
The event concluded with a spoken word performance by Randell Adjei, Ontario's first Poet Laureate.
