GoPro Kayaking RAW: Grand Canyon of the Stikine River, Canada BC // Day 1/3

Our crew of Stikine Newbies put in at 11:30 am at the Stikine River Bridge crossing of the BC Highway 37. After 45 minutes of almost flat water, we reached “Entry Falls”. We scouted at river right and entered there as well. After that, the river got almost flat again for about 30 minutes until the difficulties started to raise continuously. We scouted a couple of rapids but ran everything. The biggest ones “Pass or Fail” and “Wassons Hole” were good to scout on river right. After Wassons there is more boogie for about 30 minutes until we have reached Camp 1. We unloaded our boats and started to portage “Site Zed”. We have left the boats at the bottom and hiked back up for 10 minutes until we reached our Camp at 6:30 pm.
