Arab leaders must wake up to Israeli expansionism | One on one with Walid Jumblatt

Middle East Eye’s Editor-in-Chief David Hearst sits down with Walid Jumblatt, the veteran politician and leader of Lebanon’s Druze community, in Beirut.

In a wide-ranging interview, Jumblatt spoke about his fears that Gaza faces total destruction, and called on Arab leaders to wake up to the wider threat to the region posed by Israeli expansionism.

He also talked about his meetings with Syria’s new leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, and the political situation in Lebanon in the aftermath of Israel’s devastating war against Hezbollah.
