The Burkert 6011 is a popular solenoid among planted aquarium hobbyists. It is used for CO2 injection in planted aquariums because it boosts plant growth. Sometimes these solenoids leak. The purpose of this video is to show a simple inspection of this solenoid, in order to see if there is anything obstructing the solenoid plunger. Hobbyists have found dust and pipe tape particles inside their solenoids, and so I just wanted to check to see if there was anything. Also, I just wanted to experiment with stretching the plunger spring.
