The U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations’ North America Liaison Office co-hosted a virtual roundtable session to showcase “Food Loss and Waste Successes from the U.S. and Canada.” Speakers shared their experiences of increasing sustainable food management in Baltimore, Denver, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Guelph, Ontario. The webinar also includes remarks from Dr. Jean Buzby, USDA’s Food Loss and Waste Liaison, and Jocelyn Brown Hall, the Director of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Liaison Office for North America based in Washington, DC.
