This is the D-2 inc. flash talk at the Blue Innovation Symposium 2025 in Newport Rhode Island part of the Blue Venture Forum. Dean Fougere Vice President of D-2 Incorporated spoke to the Blue Economy's top minds presenting brand new CTD technology offered by D-2 Incorporated. CTD's are the backbone of Oceanographic Research, they provide Conductivity which measures Ocean Salinity, Temperature and Depth. D-2 is looking to provide a second source for CTD's for Oceanographic research and naval use. Able to measure the deepest parts of the Ocean but also perfect for all forms of shallow and mid depth operations as well. D-2 inc. has the first truly new salinity measurement aka conductivity device that allows for closed field precision with flow through design. D-2 inc. has faster lead times and much faster calibration times than any other CTD manufacturer already.
