✨ In the stillness of meditation, the Pūrṇam Mantra reminds us that we are already whole. Even when we perceive ourselves as divided into “light” and “dark,” both arise from the same wholeness and return to it. This sacred mantra from the Isha Upanishad carries a timeless message: nothing is ever lacking, nothing is ever incomplete — you are whole as you are.
🕉 Mantra in Sanskrit (Devanagari):
ॐ पूर्णमदः पूर्णमिदं पूर्णात् पूर्णमुदच्यते ।
पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिष्यते ॥
ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥
Transliteration:
Om Purnamadah Purnamidam
Purnat Purnamudachyate
Purnasya Purnamadaya
Purnamevavashishyate
Om Shantih Shantih Shantih
Meaning:
That is whole, this is whole; from wholeness, wholeness arises.
Even when wholeness is taken from wholeness, wholeness alone remains.
Peace, peace, peace.
🌿 Benefits of Chanting the Pūrṇam Mantra:
Brings peace to a divided mind by reminding us of our true wholeness
Eases inner conflict between light and shadow aspects of self
Supports emotional healing and self-acceptance
Creates a meditative state of balance and completeness
Invokes deep inner stillness and spiritual harmony
🌸 Allow this mantra to be your guide in moments of self-doubt, turmoil, or when you feel fragmented. Let it gently lead you back to the truth of your being: you are already whole.
🙏 Listen, chant along, and return to the center of your being.
