Wecome back to " You and I Can Cook". Today I have prepared another authentic Mangalorean dish which is Mutton Polov. It is a traditional dish made at roce ceremonies in Mangalore. Roce is basically coconut milk which is applied to the bride and bridegroom a day before the wedding ceremony and is symbolised as purification of the person in preparation for the most important event of his/her life - The Wedding.
Mutton Polov is made with roasted and ground spices, coconut and coconut milk, mutton and Ash Pumpkin. This dish is very flavorful and irresistibly tempting. Do try out the recipe and let me know your comments.
