Tullow Museum - If you have ever wondered what Tullow Museum is like but haven’t visited yet, here is a clear sneak peek inside. The museum sits in a beautiful stone building at the River Slaney Bridge, once a Methodist Church, and it is filled with stories that belong to Tullow and the wider Carlow area. Inside you will find artefacts linked to Fr Murphy, including what are believed to be his last vestments, reminders of his role in the 1798 Rebellion and his capture and execution in Tullow town square. There are also local photographs, genealogy material, and detailed records of old gravestones, all carefully preserved by the volunteers.
