What happens when a non-Muslim visits Medina— the second of the holiest cities in Islam?
In this video, I travel to Medina, Saudi Arabia, navigating the city with deep respect for its spiritual significance while experiencing its atmosphere, architecture, and the mosque, from an outsider’s perspective. I share what areas are accessible, what surprised me most, and how the city feels beyond what most travelers ever get to see.
The streets surrounding the Prophet’s Mosque gave moments of reflection, and challenged my own assumptions and values but also made me even more curious. It offered a rare glimpse into a place few non-Muslims ever visit.
After Medina, the journey continues to Jeddah—a vibrant coastal city where tradition meets modern Saudi life. From the Red Sea energy to the contrast in pace, culture, and freedom, Jeddah was the warmest place on our Saudi journey.
This video is not about religion, but about understanding, respect, and curious travelling.
