Key Moment 4:38 - getting on foil in under 10 mph
I've been riding this setup most of the summer in winds under 10 mph. At 230lbs this was not possible with conventional gear. After a full season on the board I share my thoughts as well as actual video of what it looks like to sail in winds well below 10 mph. It's almost a different sport in these conditions. When it's really borderline, it's a bit like fishing. You hunt for a puff, catch it, pump the wing and foil to try to stitch rides together. It's no problem at all with a solid 8mph. This video is capturing the absolute minimum capability of the setup.
