Florida's Hidden Gem | The West Coast's Best Anchorage?

While many couples with our style boat primarily enjoy marina stays, we deviate from the norm just a little. Not to say we don't love exploring a coastal town via a beautiful marina, because we do, but there are lots of times we just want to wake up "on the hook" as they say.

There is nothing we love more than enjoying a peaceful morning in nature at anchor. I am notorious for trying to wiggle ourselves into lesser known anchorages that offer it all; amazing beaches, places to eat and explore, dolphin visits and stunning natural beauty.

Southwest Florida's Stump Pass is currently at the top of our list! This anchorage is just far enough away from the hustle and just close enough that within 5 minutes you can be partying with friends on a sandbar, enjoying a waterside dinner or taking in some resort amenities. We love it!
