"Yule Tree" by Black Cat Blues-Premium Hand Made Art Soap

An image of a holiday tree came into my mind for this piece. I never know what the design will look like till i actually sit down and bring the image into reality. Techniques from polymer clay, such as a simple cane, were used to construct the yule tree. The small yule trees for the interior of the soap were made from a fondant mold. The soap pearls were made by hand. The most time consuming part of the piece was covering the trees with the sugar pearls.

Fragrance oil: Citrus Showers and Balsam.
Balsam and pine fragrance oils give me a headache. Since the theme for this piece was a yule tree, i thought i really needed to use
some balsam or pine fragrance oil. The combination of Citrus Showers with a little balsam turned out lovely. It passed the headache test.

FYI, i make art soap and videos of my creations just for the fun and challenge of it. I do not sell my work. My hope is only to inspire others to think out of the box when it comes to soap.
