Windsurfing in the Netherlands is amazing. Here are some impressions of the spot Zonnemaire. It is a great speed spot. My intention was to get to know the spot in easy conditions to get used to it. And even then it was at some times a challenge to keep my orientation. Robert, Willem and me went out for some runs. I was glad we went with the three of us! Not only for the safety but also for sharing the fun and experience. The weather and colours were lovely. We had about 16-20 knots. I used my 7,1 sail and 97 board. It was easy to cruise on the speed strip with about 50km/h. Date: 27-07-2020.
It was a good idea to first get to know the spot en light conditions! I am looking forward to doing speedruns with more knots!!
