Little trip to the alps with the new 2019 BMW S1000RR. Unfortunately it started raining after a view minutes up the Jaufenpass which is not too much fun with the race tires on the bike but it handled fine in rain mode. The power from low to high revs is just insane and with the carbon rims the bike handles just like a 600ccm. Definitely the best sports bike I have ever ridden.
What always shocks me on trips in the alps is how many close calls of other bikers I see. Many people (bikers & people in cars) are just not used to the rather small roads which often have no middle line.
