We decided to visit Lake Norman in April 2017 where we have family and we were absolutely bowled over by the place. The lake is wonderful and we had a great time there. There are three RV parks nearby to where we needed to be. One is a national park and the others are a KOA and a privately owned site. More details: www.great-escape.us
