A review of the Polisport Halo.

It was pretty easy to install.
The Polisport Halo came retro fitted with a Philips HS1 35w bulb which performs well. I couldn't compare the DRZ stock headlamp because I do not use the stock bulb. It was upgraded it to a Philips X-Treme Power 65w bulb which is almost twice as powerful. BUT! Recently I have put the 65w bulb into the Halo and the difference was brilliant.
Remember, because the Halo is a universal headlamp, Polisport would have to keep small CC bikes in mind. So they fit a low power 35w bulb as standard.
The Philips X-Treme Power was tested by RiDE magazine in April 2010. It was rated as being the best H4 bulb out there.
INSTALL TIPS:
You must remove the blacks brackets. That'll involve removing the top yolk and sliding them off. You'll need a rubber mallet to put the yolk back on.
The little black box on your original headlight will need a good pull to get off.
Consider using your stock bulb in the Halo.
Put the straps on the headlight first and then onto the forks.
