“The Girl in Red” Steven He is a symbolic character in Spielberg's 1993 film Schindler's List. In the movie a little girl in a red dress, a monochrome version of a film shot in black and white is one of its elements. This girl is seen during the liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto and attracts the attention of Oskar Schindler. She is surrounded by chaos and violence for Schindler, the innocent victims of war and genocide becomes a symbol.
