Corrosion of the reinforcing steel is the #1 cause of concrete failure on marine structures. Before corrosion can be mitigated or brought to a halt, we must understand the underlying cause and quantify the magnitude and extent of corrosion risk. There are many destructive and non-destructive test methods that are effective in assessing corrosion risk. No one method will provide a complete assessment, but in combination can provide a holistic view of the structure’s health. This webinar will compare and contrast the various methods available today.
