OpenBVE Throwback & Wacky (Holiday Special) - TOMC 8 Train (3rd Avenue)

To avoid any confusion, please read the description first or towards the end before the next premiere - TOMC 8 train, full run from Gun Hill Road to E149th Street.

Premieres on Dec 25th at 3 PM EST. This will be the 20th in line. Be sure that this video plays right after the 19th, and the 21st one afterwards (if in the playlist provided).

It's both a Throwback & Wacky run:

Throwback - The 3rd Avenue Line was once in service since 1878, and was cut off in 1955 to Bronx only service when the Manhattan section was closed and demolished. The number 8 was assigned to the 3rd Avenue Line in 1967, but only used on maps and station signs while trains displayed 'SHUTTLE'. It was closed in 1973 and demolished by 1977.

Wacky - This line is actually the fictional V line. However this is still a good interpretation of the former El that was once in service.

The gray S is being used on the TOMC as the 'SHUTTLE' placeholder on the front and side, since that wasn't in use at the time until 1979, 6 years after the 3rd Avenue El was closed. The number 8 rollsign is not included on this TOMC version. Only the 149th Street destination was used as Gun Hill Road is not included (it is up front, but not the side).

As aforementioned in a community post, all new & existing video must have a high number of views (minimum 900 to 1,000 or more). Otherwise there will be less uploads and the burnout will increase.
