Butlins Day visits - are they worth the actual real cost?

Why would people do them?
Some people can't justify the cost of a Butlins hotel . Bear in mind that these hotels can't be booked for under three nights. I did have a look and it was £313 for three nights .
I am not here to judge people who do book Butlins hotels but if you can't justify staying in their hotels for three nights , this could be a good alternative.
I could not find a way to book this online for just one adult . I was on the same booking as others but this isn't their channel so you'll only see what I spent my time and money doing.
I would encourage you to pre book online rather than paying on the day as Butlins do sometimes have a discount for pre bookings - they did on this occasion .
Day visit hours are 10:00-20:00 and do not expect to be given any early access .
This isn't a complaint but an observation and a recommendation to bring things to keep occupied whilst you're waiting. There are a few cafes , toilets etc to use while waiting but I didn't bother .
The obvious costs - and probably the only mandatory costs - are the actual day pass and getting there from wherever you are staying.
The day passes are dynamically priced . Each day is allocated a ''pricing tier'' , I suspect it's mostly based on how busy Butlins would already be.
For all other costs, I'd say you could spend as much or as little as you wanted.
My daypass was £33 before the buy online discount (that took it down to around £26) .
It turned out the day I went was ''a top tier day '' (the highest pricing category) and the bus from where I was staying in Skegness was £3 .
There are a few free things to do but they may not be your preferred activities and you will have to hunt them out .
I did see plenty of seating that does not belong to any cafe , restaurant etc both indoors and outdoors so it's possible to take food from home or buy something in actual Skegness . This is mostly what I did.
I was hoping to get into Coral Beach , one of the all you can eat buffets however by the time a table became free , I wouldn't have had long enough to make it worthwhile so I didn't bother .
I did on two occasions want some hot food so I did get Burger King twice - cheesy fries and a hot drink each time. I was surprised to learn that the cheapest hot drinks were actually inside Burger King.
I didn't include the bus back to Skegness because my plans afterwards actually saw me head the other way.
Before anyone asks how I earnt 3510 tickets in a few hours , the truth is that most of them , 2133 of them (around 61%) are actually ''leftovers'' from past visits.
Costs
Bus from Skegness £3
Day pass £26
Claw machine £6
Little something £11.09
Coffee shop £3.30
Swimming £0 (it's included)
Burger King £13.36
All other gambling (2p machines etc, I personally do not bother with the 18 and over machines) £29.16 - this was not all in one go . This was spread out across the day but I thought the video would look more organised if I put all of those things together. And I was determined to make sure that all of my leftover tickets were used for this Arcade . (I failed as when I cleared out the place I was staying , I found two more Butlins arcade tickets!)
That makes a total spend of £91.91
The day pass and the bus fare were only around 32% of the total spend .
Butlins prize shop spending
The Tetris plushy was 3000 tickets, each chocolate mouse was 150 tickets and each Maoam was 30 tickets .
The yoyo and dinosaur came out of the 2p machines .
Would I do it again?
Yes I would however , I would spend far less time and money on gambling .
I would also cut out the bar visit and fill a Thermos Flask with coffee in the morning .
A flask that keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold is called a Thermos flask.
