In my series "Journey to Journeyman" I will try to become a proficient hobby machinist. I will be learning how to use my Atlas 618, South Bend 10K metal lathe, and Atlas Horizontal Milling Machine to make parts for my restorations projects.
I use my Atlas Horizontal Milling Machine to make a jig to grind HSS tools to cut Acme threads. Also, I make left hand Acme threads.
