This was the debut single on Boy George's More Protein record label. It was a minor club hit when it came out, but enough that distributor Virgin Records decided it was worth a re-release less than a year later. The re-release 12" was supposed to include the original mix on side one and two new mixes (Sir Frederick Leighton Mix and the Kinky Transformer Mix) on side two, but it was mis-pressed with the just the 12" version of the Sir Frederick Leighton mix. The correct configuration was ONLY included on the Australian 12" single.
Unfortunately, incorrect labels, recycled mixes with new names, and mis-pressed records were par for the course for most of More Protein's time with Virgin Records. Similar issues would confound collectors and discographers up until the label folded circa 2007.
