Walls close in, the echoes grow loud,
Silent screams beneath a heavy cloud.
Every step I take feels like a fight,
Caught in the web of endless night.

But somewhere deep inside, a spark remains,
Flickering hope through all the pains.

I pace inside this cage I built with trembling hands,
Yearning for the open sky but chained by shifting sands.
The darkness is a cruel friend, familiar in its grip,
I crave the light beyond the door, yet fear the first step’s slip.
Caught between the want to run and terror to be free,
A prisoner of my own mind, lost in uncertainty…

Shadows whisper secrets I can’t ignore,
Promises of freedom, but what’s in store?
The past’s a ghost that won’t let go,
Dragging me down where no one knows.

Still, the dawn calls out through the haze,
A chance to break these endless days.
