Wild day on the water for KOTG Series Round 3 at Lake Okeechobee. Takeoff in the dense fog was crazy. We had 12.34 pounds by 10:30 am. left to check out another area when boat suddenly died like it was out of fuel. Suspecting the Primer Bulb but no replacement our fishing day was over and we trolled 4 miles through muddy water to Slims Fish Camp. Expecting to Uber back to Clewiston to bring the truck back and pack up the boat, we would be disqualified for not making weigh-in. Miraculously, it started at 2:42 pm, and I jammed it in forward and hauled ass 15 miles back to Roland Martins for the weigh-in. Lesson learned. Carry an extra Primer Bulb!
