Bauer’s Dubbing Brush Pike Fly

Here we have it, a pike fly tied with a dubbing brush, I will also show you how to make a brush and some of my thoughts on what I think is important when using a brush. This is a really good color combo by the way. Enjoy!

Hook: Partridge Universal Predator X Red #6/0 and Partiot Bloody Intruder #1
Tail: Dragon Tail XL or XL Wide – Fire red, Bauer pike wire, Titanium, Articulation Beads 3mm - Fluo Salmon Red, fastach size 0
Glue: Zap a gap brush on, Gulff Flexman, Black and red marker
Thread: Power tread 100D -150D – White
Eyes: Stick-On Eyes 7,1 mm Fl. orange
Tail: Nature’s Spirit large Bucktail - Orange, Flashabou Magnum – Holo orange, gold, Pearl a glow – orange, Bauer’s Premium Nayat in orange flame, Craft fur orange
Body: Polar reflector flash - olive
Dubbing Brush: Stonfo Dubbing Brush device, Uni Dubbing brush wire SS, Dubbing wax, Bauer’s Premium Nayat in Young Pike, Ripple ice fiber – Chartreuse, Flashabou holo, olive and chartreuse, Flashabou pearl dyed olive, Craft fur olive
Wing: Nature’s Spirit large Bucktail Craft fur -olive
Head: Titan dubbing – olive
