Over the past 25 years or so we have seen technology change at a rapid pace, we were excited at each new generation of PC's, phones, screens, internet, it seemed amazing at how fast these changes were taking place, all this advancement in such a short period of time. But have we now reached a point of no return where these devices now rule our life?

Everywhere we go we see people are glued to their phones, addicted to a screen, we now see them in cars, and also now they are beginning to take over our H-iFi systems, more and more Hi-Fi devices are controlled by a screen. But do we all want this?, it seems people are reminiscing about the past, a desire to go back to time time without so much electric devices taking over our lives.

To me this was the classic era of Hi-Fi when life and things were more simpler, the period was the 80's and early nineties. In this review I take a look at an amplifier that divided opinions back then and as quick as it came it disappeared again, but now some 30 odd year later it is back the resurrection of the Kraken AR6 Stereo Integrated amplifier, but is it worth considering this amplifier in 2026? Lets take a look.
