This second of the 5 Heian videos is again basic applications only!
Heian Nidan second Kata required for a black belt grading
In this video the kata and applications are performed at slow speed so you can clearly see how to attack in this kata and also how to defend each attack.
The 4 Shuto blocks in Heian Shodan have now become 1 block and 1 strike in this kata.
The high rising block (Age Uke) has now instead become an aid to a breaking or striking technique.
Part 2 will demonstrate the intermediate applications of Heian Nidan by combining more combinations together to form new applications.
