Killer Sits Stone-Faced As Judge Locks Her Up for Neighbor's Shooting

Convicted killer Susan Lorincz was sentenced to 25 years in prison by a judge on Monday evening. The judge ruled that Lorincz deserved the sentence for shooting Ajike Owens in front of her children during a heated argument in June 2023. Lorincz sat stone-faced as the judge delivered the ruling, while Owens's family could be heard sobbing in the courtroom.

Florida woman Susan Lorincz was charged with manslaughter after admitting to shooting her neighbor, Ajike Owens, in June 2023. Lorincz reportedly called police seven times in one year to complain about Owens' children playing near her home. The feud between Lorincz and Owens turned deadly when Owens went to speak with Lorincz about a dispute involving her children. Lorincz said she shot Owens through her front door in self-defense.
