Historical Sibsagar
Sibsagar or Sivasagar is located in Upper Assam and is the heart of Assam history. Formerly known as Rongpur, it once served as the capital of the AHOM kingdom. The valiance of the Ahom dynasty has been a pride for the people of Assam. Some of the standout Ahom structures are located here in Sibsagar.
