In this video, I flip through the sketchbook I painted throughout the Plein Air April challenge while sharing my real thoughts about the experience. It was definitely more difficult than I anticipated.
In fact, I found it even harder than Inktober.
The cold weather affected my motivation, my focus, and even how my paintings turned out. This wasn’t just a painting challenge for me. Forcing myself out into the cold, just to keep up with the challenge, really started to occupy my days and push me toward creative fatigue.
In the end, I also talk about whether I recommend this challenge to others.
